
A driver of a car that crashed into a house in Two Rivers is facing charges.
The Two Rivers Police Department was called to the 2700 block of River Lane last night (June 2nd) after 10:00 p.m. for a report of a vehicle that crashed into a home.
Lieutenant Matthew Lutze explained that the 23-year-old driver failed to negotiate a T intersection at Washington and 27th Street and drove over the curb before striking the house.
A 32-year-old male passenger was taken to a hospital with life threatening injuries.
The driver was treated at a hospital and later booked into the Manitowoc County Jail on charges of OWI, 2nd offense causing injury, reckless driving causing great bodily harm, and misdemeanor bail jumping.
The names of the occupants of the vehicle are being withheld as the investigation is ongoing.
Two Rivers Police are asking residents to share video they might have that could have captured the incident.
