A suspect accused of ambushing two Milwaukee police officers is being held on $500,000 bail.
Officers Kendall Corder and Christopher McCray were shot while responding to a call last Thursday.
Corder died of his injuries Sunday, while McCray has been released from the hospital.
The suspect, 22-year-old Tremaine Jones, appeared in court Tuesday, the same day a procession honored Officer Corder as his body was transferred to a funeral home.
