A partial road construction project in Kiel is scheduled to begin next week.
Road construction on Fourth Street between North Street and Park Avenue will begin next Monday (July 7th) and is expected to last for at least two months.
Fourth Street will be closed to all through traffic.
Residents in the affected area will have access to their homes, but everyone is advised to use an alternative route and avoid the construction area.
The city council approved a bid for $1.6 million for reconstruction.
Crews will remove and reconstruct all roads, sidewalks, as well as water and sewer lines, during the project.
