A motorcyclist was injured in a crash in Downtown Manitowoc Thursday night.
Manitowoc Police Captain Jeremy Kronforst tells SeehaferNews.com that officers were called to the intersection of 8th Street and Maritime Drive just before 8:00 p.m. on a report of a motorcycle vs mini-van crash.
The biker was found lying on the curb, being treated by bystanders.
The unidentified individual was taken via ambulance to a hospital in Green Bay having suffered significant injuries.
The driver of the mini-van was cited for Failure to Yield the Right of Way, but was not injured.
Neither speed nor alcohol appear to be factors in this crash.
Custer Street Towing was called to tow the mini-van and the motorcycle.
