A man convicted of stalking a woman in Fond du Lac is getting a lengthy prison sentence.
FOX11 reports that 37-year-old Zackery Olson will spend 15 years behind bars, followed by 14 years of extended supervision.
He was convicted in Fond du Lac County by a jury back in February on charges including stalking, violating an injunction, telephone harassment, and bail jumping.
Fond du Lac County District Attorney Eric Toney said Olson, “stalked and terrorized a woman for years and she showed incredible courage in testifying at trial to hold him accountable. He will spend the next 15 years in prison and should serve as a warning to anyone that seeks to stalk, harass, or intimidate women.”
The Fond du Lac County Sheriff’s Office got help in the investigation from the Waukesha County Sheriff’s Office.
