Sixth District Wisconsin Congressman Glenn Grothman was very pleased with the passage today of the major reconciliation bill that Republicans are calling the One Big Beautiful Bill.
In a statement released after the passage, the Republican House member said, “The passage is a historic victory for Americans, as we’ve avoided the largest tax hike in our nation’s history. The American People gave us a mandate after four years of failure under President Biden to revive prosperity in our country.”
Grothman went on to say “The bill strengthens our government programs for the people they were intended to serve, while rooting out the waste, fraud and abuse that have plagued our systems for far too long.”
The bill includes both budget and policy provisions and was unanimously opposed by Democrats.
