The Two Rivers Public School District is still collecting items for a new math curriculum.
The Two Rivers Senior Center first collected items, including paper bags, yarn, and baskets.
However, the district announced that they still needed multiple items, including pouring containers, paper towels, toilet paper tubes, and different-sized bottles, among other items.
Items can still be dropped off at the senior center or the school district office.
The district is asking for the public’s help, as the cost of materials would be allocated to the teachers themselves.
The new curriculum, called Bridges in Mathematics, is part of the Math Learning Center, a group founded in Oregon.
The curriculum is designed to be more interactive, helping students learn more effectively.
