A former school staff member has been arrested in Vernon County following allegations of sexual assault involving a student.
Investigators say Ashley Benson became the subject of a probe in June after receiving a tip.
She was taken into custody Monday and faces multiple charges, including sexual assault of a student by school staff, second-degree sexual assault of a child, and engaging in sex with a minor aged 16 or older.
Her bond has been set at $5,000.
