Operations were temporarily paused at the Quality Roasting facility west of Valders after a small fire yesterday (June 30th).
Valders Fire and Rescue were called to the soybean processor just after 7:20 p.m. last night for a small fire found in a small burner unit.
The fire was fully extinguished in eight minutes.
Fire Chief Christopher Dallas reports that no injuries were sustained, and the fire was confined to the small burner area, preventing further damage to the facility.
Quality Roasting resumed regular operation at 8:00 p.m.
Valders Fire and Rescue was assisted by the St. Nazianz Fire Department, Reedsville Fire Department, and Branch Fire Department.
