Two road construction projects are continuing in Sheboygan County this week.
The Wisconsin DOT has announced that while work on State Highways 32 and 28 will progress this week, work will cease at noon on Thursday (July 3rd) ahead of the 4th of July weekend.
On Highway 28, the bridge in the Village of Cascade remains closed, and crews will be out pouring sidewalk concrete on the bridge deck over the next few days.
Motorists are still advised to use County Road A and State Highway 57 during the bridge replacement project.
In Gibbsville, culvert work is still underway on Highway 32, which is closed to through traffic and detoured at each culvert location that is under construction between County Roads V and D.
With the United States celebrating Independence Day on Friday, crews will have a long weekend before getting back to work in Sheboygan County and across the state on Monday (July 7th).
