
As the high school sports seasons have come to an end, Sheboygan County golfers are being recognized for their work in the classroom.
The Golf Coaches Association of Wisconsin has announced the 2025 Academic All-State Team, featuring numerous Sheboygan County golfers.
Members of the Plymouth High School golf team to make the cut include Magnus Bland as well as Ben Harpstead, Brennan Helmer, and Maximo Troka, who received High Honors.
Three Sheboygan Falls golfers were included as well, including Tre Kettle, Sam Best, and Davis Fitchko. Sheboygan Lutheran featured the most golfers to make the Academic All-State Team in Sheboygan County, with five.
Crusaders Jack MacGillis, Reid Kuchinski, Andrew Leibham, and Oliver Leibham received honors, while Alexei Leganchunk was picked with High Honors.
The last school in the county to feature members of the Academic All-State team was the Sheboygan North Golden Raiders, where Bryce Ten Pas also earned High Honors, while teammate Ryder Miller was also honored.
North’s Miller was also selected to the Golf Coaches Association of Wisconsin’s All-State Third Team.
Lutheran’s Oliver Leibham and MacGillis, Brady McAndrews of Kohler, and Aaron Federwisch from Elkhart Lake-Glebeulah were selected as Division Three All-State Honorable Mention honorees by the coaches association as well.
