Milwaukee Police Officer Kendall Corder has died following a shooting last Thursday night.
Corder and fellow officer Christopher McCray were responding to a domestic violence call near 24th Place and West Garfield Avenue when they were ambushed in an alley by 22-year-old Tremaine Jones.
Officer McCray was treated for non-life-threatening injuries and released from the hospital on Saturday.
A procession honoring Corder drew hundreds of first responders.
Jones remains in custody as he awaits formal charges.
