An argument between a couple at the Manitowoc Fleet Farm led to an arrest over the weekend.
Officers were called to the store on South Rapids Road at 3:00 Sunday afternoon on a report of a physical disturbance.
A witness reported seeing a man punching the windshield of a vehicle before fleeing.
Due to the potential of weapons being used, numerous officers were called, one of whom located the following vehicle thanks to a witness following the man.
A high-risk traffic stop was conducted, and the 56-year-old man was arrested without incident.
His wife admitted the two were arguing in the parking lot when things “got intense.”
That is when the witness approached, asking if everything was ok.
The suspect was said to be holding a child, whose age was redacted, as he was punching the vehicle, leading the witness to call police.
The man was taken to the Manitowoc County Jail on charges of Disorderly Conduct, Felony Bail Jumping, and Misdemeanor Bail Jumping.
