Numerous roads in the City of Sheboygan will be closed next week.
The Sheboygan Department of Public Works is alerting residents that portions of five separate roads will be closed beginning Monday morning (June 30th) due to asphalt maintenance and milling.
Closures will take place on South 20th Street between Indiana and Georgia Avenues, Dillingham Avenue between South 8th and 12th Streets, and North 16th Street from Superior to Saemann Avenues, along with Oakland Avenue between South 8th and 9th Streets and South 7th Street from Union to Mead Avenues.
On the day prior to a closure in the five locations, no parking signs will be posted on streets, and roads will be closed to through traffic for the duration of work.
These closures are temporary, and each singular project is expected to take no longer than one day to complete.
The entirety of the milling work is expected to be completed by Wednesday (June 30th).
After completion, no parking signs will be removed by DPW crews.
This planned road maintenance is weather-dependent, and traffic impacts are subject to change.
