Rideshare drivers for Uber and Lyft in Milwaukee staged a strike Thursday, turning off their apps to protest low pay.
Drivers argue that current earnings don’t cover the cost of maintaining their vehicles or the challenges of their work.
The Milwaukee Area Labor Council plans to meet with the drivers and says more walkouts could occur next week if concerns aren’t addressed.
