
An investigation by the Oshkosh Police Department led to the arrest of a man for drug possession.
The department says they, along with the Lake Winnebago Area Metropolitan Group, conducted search warrants on two homes on Monday (June 23rd).
One search was in the City of Oshkosh while the other was in the Town of Nekimi.
A 49-year-old Oshkosh man was later arrested, and numerous items were seized, including 1.57 pounds of Methamphetamine, a vehicle, and $675 in cash.
The suspect is currently being held in the Winnebago County Jail on a probation and parole hold.
OPD says they will continue to work diligently to investigate drug crimes as illegal drugs and drug dealers pose a threat to the health, safety, and well-being of residents.
