Grant applications for the Resilient Food Systems Infrastructure Program are now open again.
The Wisconsin Department of Agriculture, Trade, and Consumer Protection (DATCP) states that the Equipment-Only grants will expand capacity and infrastructure for the aggregation, processing, manufacturing, storage, transportation, wholesaling, and distribution of locally and regionally produced food products.
They include dairy, crops, and grains. The equipment grants can range from $10,000 to $99,999 and include four categories: food processing, cold storage, forklifts, and special-purpose delivery vehicles.
