Sheboygan’s Maywood Environmental Park will be holding a fundraiser this weekend.
The park will be hosting the three-mile Walk on the Wild Side event on Saturday (June 28th) with registration beginning at 8:30 a.m.
The walk through the trails at Maywood will then open at 9:00 a.m.
Both a three-mile walk and a shorter prairie loop will be offered to those in attendance.
During the event, walkers will have the chance to learn facts about the wildlife at Maywood, try out challenge stations, and support the environmental park.
Entry into the event will cost $20 for adults, $10 for kids 4 to 17 years old, and free for those 3 years or younger, with all proceeds benefiting Maywood and its mission to foster environmental stewardship and connect the Sheboygan community to the natural world.
Registration for the walk is required; however, it can be done on location on the day of the event.
If you would like to register beforehand or find more information on the Walk on the Wild Side event, you can do so online by visiting gomaywood.org.
