A Manitowoc student has been named the recipient of a statewide Elks Club Scholarship.
Manitowoc Elks Lodge #687 has announced that Manitowoc Lutheran grad Logan Brooks has received a $1,000 scholarship through the Wisconsin Elks US Constitution Contest.
Lodge Exalted Ruler Tim Ahrens tells SeehaferNews.com that Brooks is a two time student body president at Manitowoc Lutheran, and was a part of the Mayors Youth Action Council, Crime Prevention Committee, National Honor Society, and Broadcast Club, while also playing football, and baseball, just to name a few of his activities.
He will use the scholarship to help pay for his tuition at Marquette University.
