More than 50 cases of road buckling occurred across Wisconsin last weekend due to extreme heat, according to the Department of Transportation.
The high temperatures caused concrete slabs to expand and lift.
DOT officials say the immediate risk has passed, and travelers can check road conditions on the 511 Wisconsin website.
