A woman charged with firing a gun in the air in Manitowoc has pleaded.
According to court documents, 41-year-old Amy Duerwaechter pleaded not guilty to charges of 1st-degree recklessly endangering safety, two counts of intentionally pointing a firearm, and disorderly conduct.
Branch 2 Judge Jerilyn Dietz set a scheduling conference for August 27th and a further proceedings date for July 25th.
Duerwaechter was arrested in April this year after Manitowoc Police were called to the 1600 block of Galax Drive for a report of a woman claiming she was threatened.
According to a criminal complaint, the 41-year-old was causing the threat by pointing a gun at someone and then firing it into the air.
She also claimed that her boyfriend was practicing “satanic rituals” in the home.
