Eduardo Flores-Ruiz, an undocumented Mexican immigrant tied to the high-profile case involving Judge Hannah Dugan, has pleaded guilty to being in the U.S. illegally.
Under a plea deal signed last Friday, Flores-Ruiz agreed to leave the country voluntarily after serving any prison time.
He previously entered the U.S. in 2013 and was later deported.
He was arrested by ICE agents in April after attending a court hearing in Milwaukee.
Judge Dugan was also arrested for allegedly obstructing his arrest and has pleaded not guilty. Flores-Ruiz’s sentencing hearing is scheduled for August.
