Render of proposed home for Northern Lights Subdivision
The newly formed Tax Incremental District 25 (TID 25) in Sheboygan is once again going to be discussed by city officials.
The City’s Committee of the Whole will meet tomorrow (June 25th) at 6:00 p.m., with the only item up for discussion in open session to be TID 25, the housing development planned for the former Memorial Hospital site.
Last month, the Sheboygan Common Council voted 9-1 in favor of changing the location into a TID with hopes to construct 21 single-family homes in the area.
Pelton Builders has since proposed a building plan to the Sheboygan Plan Commission for the Northern Lights Subdivision, which would have homes range from 1,500 to 1,800 square feet.
The homes would cost buyers approximately $400,000 and feature three bedrooms, two bathrooms, and a side-loaded two-car garage.
Prior to tomorrow’s discussion on TID 25, a public forum will be held, allowing interested or concerned residents to voice their opinions on the matter to the Committee of the Whole.
