There are a pair of meetings on tap for today (June 24th) in the City of Two Rivers.
Up first will be the Board of Review, which will be in the Council Chambers at 4:00 p.m. After electing a chair and vice chair, the group will receive and review the annual assessment report filed by the assessor’s office.
Taxpayers will also be given time to examine the assessment data before the board reviews any notices of intent to file an objection.
Two such objections will be heard as well.
Then, at 5:15 p.m., the Business and Industrial Development Committee will hold a joint meeting with the Community Development Authority in the Committee Room in City Hall.
Both groups will also elect a chair, vice chair, and secretary/treasurer before the group gets the latest on the Sandy Bay Highlands Subdivision project.
These are the only meetings for the week in the Cool City.
