There’s a new four-legged officer in the Calumet County Sheriff’s Office.
K9 Rex is a 21-month-old Belgian Malinois and German Shepherd mix that’s known for intelligence, drive, and dedication.
He will be partnered with an 11-year veteran of law enforcement who serves as a Drug Recognition Expert and SWAT Team member.
The duo will assist in drug detection, suspect tracking, and evidence recovery.
The Calumet County Sheriff’s Office thanks the community for supporting their K9 program.
