A two-vehicle accident led to an OWI arrest in Manitowoc over the weekend.
Police were called to the intersection of South 10th and Washington Streets at 3:30 Friday afternoon, where a woman was said to be yelling at a driver involved in the crash, claiming they were drunk.
A vehicle believed to be involved was pulled over in the area of 10th and Buffalo, and the 54-year-old driver admitted to rear-ending another vehicle.
He told police that the driver of the other vehicle had gotten out of their car and demanded money, so the man gave her $100, and both vehicles left.
A field sobriety test was administered, which revealed several indicators of intoxication.
He was then taken to a local hospital for a blood draw, and he reportedly fell asleep several times.
The man was arrested on his 4th OWI, and was cited for Operating While Suspended and Operating a Motor Vehicle without Insurance.
