Jack H. Haese, age 86, a resident of the Town of Kossuth, entered eternal life with his loving wife by his side on Thursday, June 19, 2025 at Angelus Senior Living in Manitowoc.
Jack was born on January 11, 1939 in Manitowoc to the late Harold and Mildred (Menges) Haese. He graduated from Mishicot High School with the class of 1957. He served his country in the United States Army from 1962 until his honorable discharge in 1964. On October 10, 1964, Jack married Shirley Dvorak at St. Anne’s Catholic Church in Francis Creek. He worked as a union carpenter for 46 years. Jack enjoyed bowling, horseshoe and golfing. Jack loved taking trips with Shirley and was proud to have visited all 50 states with her. With his brothers and brother-in-law as witnesses, Jack hit a hole-in-one at Wander Springs! He was a very generous person and dedicated a good portion of his free time helping his family and loved ones with various projects.
Survivors include Jack’s wife of 60 years, Shirley; three children, Suzanne (Joseph) Savage, Pine River; Mark (Suzanne) Haese, Francis Creek; and Sandra (Curt) Meyer, Manitowoc; six grandchildren, Danielle (Alex) Geiger, Meagan Savage, Ashley (Dakota) Marksman, Hayden (Kendra) Meyer, Sam Haese, and Jada Haese; five great grandchildren, Lakelyn Geiger, Haisley, Geiger, Elle Geiger, Clara Meyer, and Rivian Marksman; four brothers, Bob (Diane) Haese, Ted (Cindie) Haese, Gary “Bucky” (Jolene) Haese, and Carl (Lisa) Haese; sister, Janice Troullier; special friends, Lester and Joan Lodl; also other relatives and many friends. Jack was preceded in death by his parents, Harold and Mildred Haese; father-in-law and mother-in-law, William and Clara Dvorak; brother, Richard Haese; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Marjorie (Ray) Schmit, Francis (Carol) Dvorak, and Grace Dvorak; and granddaughter, Kiara Haese.
Funeral services will be held at 4 p.m. on Wednesday, June 25, 2025 at St. Anne Catholic Church, 202 S. Packer Drive, Francis Creek. The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated by Rev. Christian Raj with burial to take place at St. Anne’s Catholic Cemetery at a later date. A dinner for family and friends will then be held at the Harrigan Parkside Gathering Center, 620 North Water Street, Manitowoc. In lieu of flowers, the family would appreciate memorials in Jack’s name to benefit organizations that were important to him.
