Craft Creek Brewing in Manitowoc is helping the Wisconsin Maritime Museum with a major project.
The museum announced the release of a limited-edition USS Cobia-themed beer called Run Silent, Run Sweet.
Proceeds from beer sales will go toward the dry docking of the Cobia.
The museum will be unveiling the new beer at the Sub Pub, on top of the museum, this Thursday (June 26th) at 5:00 p.m., which will be followed by a performance by the renowned Great Lakes folk musician Lee Murdock at 6:30 p.m.
Run Silent, Run Sweet is a honey wheat ale made with Wisconsin honey and made from ingredients donated by Briess Malt, with production supported by a donation from Broadwind Fabrication.
The Cobia beer will only be served at the Sub Pub, but will be available to purchase as well.
The Sub Pub is open Thursday through Saturday from 5:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m.
More information about the dry docking of the Cobia can be found at WisconsinMaritimeMuseum.com.
