A perfect day at the plate by Kam Braun helped Manitowoc American Legion Post 88 take down Troll Town Tourney in Baraboo on Saturday.
Braun went 3 for 3 with 3 RBI as his 19u team bounced back from a loss on Saturday to win 8-0 at the Baraboo Tournament.
Manitowoc scored early and often, plating one run in the 1st and 3rd innings, and a pair in the 2nd, 4th, and 6th innings.
Noah Blaser also fared well offensively, notching 3 RBI on his 2 hits, while also forcing a walk to open up the scoring.
Seth Gibeault had a near-perfect day on the mound, allowing just one hit and one walk through his six innings of work, while also striking out a pair.
Up next for the local American Legion squad is a road game against De Pere on Tuesday (June 24th).
