The man charged in the death of Elijah Vue returns to court today (June 20th).
The case of Jesse Vang will be brought up in Manitowoc County Court this morning. The hearing is set for a status conference.
The last time Vang was in court, his attorneys requested additional time to review the substantial amount of evidence in the case.
Vang faces charges of physical assault on a child, causing death, hiding a corpse, resisting or obstructing an officer, and chronic child neglect.
Elijah was reported missing in February last year before his remains were found in the Town of Two Rivers in September.
His death has been ruled a “homicide by unspecified means.”
