An Elkhart Lake business and a Green Bay Packers Hall of Famer are joining forces to help Wisconsin communities.
The Garage in Elkhart Lake has teamed up with the Gilbert Brown Foundation, which will culminate on July 26th at 1:30 p.m., when the man known as “The Grave Digger” in his playing days will be on site to collect donations.
These donations are being raised through an ongoing community raffle where guests are encouraged to stop by The Garage, donate, and have their name entered to win items such as signed memorabilia.
The raffle is underway and will stay open through the day Brown makes his appearance, with all proceeds benefiting the foundation and which helps children, families, and veterans across Wisconsin.
During his career, Brown was seen as a large, menacing force on the defensive line; however, since his retirement, he has been anything but.
The Gilbert Brown Foundation partners with Make-A-Wish, St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, the Children’s Hospital of Milwaukee, and other initiatives with the belief that “the money raised in Wisconsin, stays in Wisconsin.”
