Bond has been set for the two people arrested earlier this week when an officer drew his weapon.
43-year-old Melissa L. Shelton was given a $5,000 recognizance bond by Court Commissioner Patricia Koppa on charges of Possession of Methamphetamine, THC, Schedule 1 or 2 Narcotic, a Non-Schedule Drug, and Drug Paraphernalia.
Meanwhile, 46-year-old Darryl W. Patterson Senior was given a $1,000 cash bond on charges of Resisting an Officer, Possession of a Schedule 1 or 2 Narcotic and Drug Paraphernalia, and Possession of Psilocybin with Intent to Deliver.
Shelton was driving a vehicle that was pulled over in the area of Spring Street and Revere Drive earlier this week, and when confronted by police, Patterson fled on foot.
He was seen reaching for an item in one of his pockets, leading to the pursuing officer pulling his service weapon.
As a part of their bonds, both were ordered to have no contact with each other or a third individual who was not arrested, and to maintain absolute sobriety.
Patterson was also ordered to not possess any controlled substances except for prescribed medications.
He is due back in court for his initial appearance on July 23rd in Branch 1, while Shelton will be in Branch 2 on July 7th.
