The federal trial for Milwaukee County Judge Hannah Dugan has been postponed.
She has been accused of aiding an undocumented immigrant in avoiding federal immigration agents.
The delay comes as the court reviews a motion from Dugan’s legal team to dismiss the case, arguing she is protected by judicial immunity.
Prosecutors allege Dugan, while presiding over the case of an undocumented man, became aware of ICE officers at the courthouse and then guided the individual out through a private exit.
The trial was originally set for July 21, but no new date has been set.
