
The 2025 PDGA United States Women’s Disc Golf Championships kicks off today, with several golfers from the area slated to compete.
Of the 330 total players taking to Rollin Ridge in Reedsville and Silver Creek Park in Manitowoc, 39 come from the state of Wisconsin.
The main attraction is the Women’s Pro Open, which will showcase a pair of players from Eastern Wisconsin.
Two Rivers’ Lindsay Fish will compete along with Emily Roskum of Green Bay as two of only four Wisconsin-based golfers.
Meanwhile, in the Women’s Amateur 60+ division, Becci Aschenbach of Sheboygan and Liz Phillippi of Kaukauna are among the 14 player field.
In Women’s Amateur 1, Rayne Winans of Kaukauna and Jordan Krizek of Appleton will compete, while fellow Appletonian Sierra Maatta will be in the Women’s Amateur 2 field, and Deana Strauss of Green Bay is in the Women’s Amateur 4 division.
For the pros competing, days 1 and 2 of the 2025 PDGA United States Women’s Disc Golf Championships will be played at Rollin Ridge, while Saturday and Sunday’s finale will be at Silver Creek Park on Manitowoc’s south side.
