The woman convicted in a 2022 Green Bay homicide is withdrawing her appeal.
According to court documents, 27-year-old Taylor Schabusiness filed a handwritten motion to voluntarily dismiss and extend the time to file a new post-conviction motion.
A new court date has not been set.
Her lawyer was going to argue a no-merit appeal, meaning there are no real arguments that could be made to overturn the conviction.
Schabusiness was convicted of killing and dismembering Shad Thyrion in a Green Bay home.
She also faces charges in Fond du Lac County for battery by a prisoner.
According to a criminal complaint, she lunged at a corrections officer after needing to get a staple removed from her arm.
