A man from Menasha has been charged in a child pornography case.
The U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Eastern District of Wisconsin has shared that 57-year-old Todd E. Grimm has been federally indicted for receiving child pornography.
The indictment alleges that Grimm received child sexual abuse materials three times on dates in February, May, and July of 2023.
This case is part of the nationwide Project Safe Childhood initiative, which works to combat the growing epidemic of child sexual exploitation and abuse.
The Menasha Police Department led the investigation into the 57-year-old, who will now be prosecuted by Assistant United States Attorney Daniel Humble.
If convicted of any of the three charges he faces, Grimm would face a mandatory five to twenty years in federal prison.
He would also face fines up to $250,000 and be registered as a sex offender under state and federal law.
