A teen from Random Lake will be going to prison for sexually assaulting a child.
Court records show that 17-year-old Cole Guttmann appeared in court yesterday (June 16th) to be sentenced after being convicted of Second-Degree Sexual Assault of a Child in March.
At yesterday’s hearing, Guttmann was ordered to spend four years in prison followed by eight years on extended supervision, after originally being charged with seven felonies, including First-Degree Child Sexual Assault and two counts of Incest with a Child.
Guttmann and fellow 17-year-old Spencer Dietrich have both been found guilty of charges relating to the incident that occurred in April of last year; however, Dietrich is still awaiting his sentencing.
As part of Guttmann’s sentence, he was ordered to pay over $2,000 in restitution, have no unsupervised contact with minors, no contact with any of the three victims involved, he is not to consume drugs or alcohol, and will be registered as a sex offender for life.
