A man will be spending time in prison after being convicted in a fatal motorcycle crash in Kaukauna.
WBAY reports that 23-year-old Zachary Burr was sentenced to fifteen years behind bars.
He pleaded no contest to charges of homicide by intoxicated use of a vehicle and hit-and-run involving death in April.
He will also have to pay more than $27,000 in restitution.
As we’ve reported before, Burr crashed a motorcycle in August last year at the intersection of Depot and Taylor Streets.
A 20-year-old female passenger on the motorcycle was found by emergency personnel and was taken to a hospital, were she later died.
Burr had fled the scene but was later caught by Kaukauna Police.
