Bail has been set for the man said to be responsible for a crash on Manitowoc’s 10th Street bridge over the weekend.
23-year-old Brenton A. Randall was given a $2,500 cash bond by Court Commissioner Patrica Koppa on a lone charge of 2nd Degree Recklessly Endangering Safety.
Randall was reported to be driving at speeds of around 55 MPH at around 10:45 Saturday morning, when he collided with another vehicle.
He told police that his brakes were not working, and that is why he was going so fast.
The 23-year-old is now out on bond after furnishing the $2,500 cash.
He was also ordered to have no contact with the victims and to not operate any motor vehicle.
Randall is due back in court on June 23rd for his initial appearance.
