Manitowoc County has a new circuit court clerk.
April Higgins resigned from her job due to a medical issue that requires her full attention.
Her official last day will be July 3rd.
Higgins stated, “This decision was not made lightly, but my health must take priority at this time.”
Higgins continues to say that serving Manitowoc County in the role was one of the greatest honors of her life and she was truly grateful for the trust placed in her.
The judges of Manitowoc County appointed current Judicial Assistant Angela Linderud to fill the position of circuit clerk of courts.
Higgins was elected to her first term during the 2022 Midterm Elections.
