The Manitowoc County Retired Educators Association has been focused on giving back to the community.
Members volunteered a total of 4,621 hours valued at over$147,000 at more than 50 organizations.
The Manitowoc County REA is an affiliated chapter of the Wisconsin Retired Educators’ Association (WREA), which has clocked a total of over 169,000 hours, valued at over $5.3 million.
The WREA has about 7,000 members and 56 local chapters, and has served as a professional organization representing Wisconsin’s retired educational community since 1951.
