The Wisconsin Farmers Union has announced the return of its Farmers Union Day Camps.
These free, one-day events are open to all youth and aim to inspire the next generation of leaders through hands-on learning rooted in cooperation, community, and agriculture.
Several of the camps will take place on working farms, offering a unique, immersive experience. In our area, a camp will be held at Valentine Gardens, located at 3026 Nicolet Drive in Green Bay, on Friday, June 27th.
The program will run from 9:00 to 2:00 p.m., where campers will learn about topics such as cooperation, conservation, and agriculture, all while having lots of fun playing games, exploring a farm or community space, making new friends, and practicing leadership skills.
