After its success last summer, Visit Manitowoc is expanding one of its events this year.
The City of Manitowoc’s Department of Tourism has announced that they will be hosting three outdoor movie nights throughout the remainder of the year.
This comes after their one showing of Finding Nemo last year brought hundreds out to Lighthouse Park to see the movie on the shores of Lake Michigan.
This year’s outdoor movie series will begin on June 26th at 8:30 p.m. with a showing of Raiders of the Lost Ark.
The second will be Moana 2, also at Lighthouse Park at 8:30 p.m. on August 2nd while the final showing will be Hocus Pocus in the Halloween spirit on October 3rd at 6:30 p.m. at Washington Park.
Those in attendance are encouraged to bring blankets or chairs to set up while enjoying each of the three movies.
There is no fee to view the movies, however, Happy Snax will have food and drink available for purchase all three nights.
