There could be a plea offer for the mother of Two Rivers toddler Elijah Vue.
32-year-old Katrina Baur returned to Judge Anthony Lambrecht’s courtroom for a status conference due to the amount of evidence being presented in Vue’s death case.
Attorney Amber Gratz said she needed more time to look it over and needed to view a plea offer she received.
Manitowoc County District Attorney Jacalyn LeBre also wanted some more time because of new evidence she got from the Wisconsin Department of Corrections.
Lambrecht set another status conference for September 26th.
Baur is facing charges in Elijah’s death after he was reported missing in February 2024.
His remains were later found in the Town of Two Rivers near land that a hunter was preparing for the season.
Prosecutors say she and her partner, 40-year-old Jesse Vang, were trying to “make Elijah a man” by punishing him by withholding food and threatening him with cold showers.
Elijah’s death was ruled as a homicide by unspecified means.
Baur is charged with chronic neglect of a child, neglecting a child, and two counts of revisiting or obstructing an officer.
