The former Sheboygan Falls Assistant Fire Chief charged with child sexual assault has a plea date set.
45-year-old John P. Albright appeared by phone in Sheboygan County court on Wednesday (June 11th) for a scheduling conference as he faces one felony count of Second-Degree Sexual Assault of a Child.
During that hearing, Albright and his legal counsel requested that a plea hearing be set after pleading not guilty to the charge in October of last year.
When first announced by the Sheboygan Falls Fire Department in September, it was announced that the 45-year-old was under investigation for allegedly sexually assaulting a child under the age of 16.
The 45-year-old has been out on bond after posting $25,000 cash back in December of last year.
Judge Rebecca Persick has honored Albright’s request, and he will be back in court on June 25th where it appears a plea deal will be reached.
