A man has been convicted of sexually assaulting a teen girl he met at the Bay Park Square Mall.
Court records show that 21-year-old Melvin Londo pleaded no contest to three counts of 2nd-degree sexual assault while five other counts, including 1st-degree child sexual assault with a person under 16 and strangulation and suffocation, were dismissed but read into the record.
WBAY reports that Londo was arrested in April 2023 after meeting the teen at the mall and taking her to his car.
They drank alcohol and then went to a movie theater, where authorities say he kissed and touched the teenager.
He then took the teen home to perform sex acts before she was dropped off at the mall the next day to be reunited with friends.
He will be sentenced on August 11th in a Brown County Courtroom.
