Ramon Morales-Reyes, a Milwaukee resident wrongfully accused of threatening former President Trump, has been granted bond and released.
Investigators say another individual falsely implicated Morales-Reyes in an attempt to have him deported.
Although he does not have permanent legal status, a Chicago judge set bond at $7,500 on Tuesday.
Morales-Reyes was released from Dodge County jail on Thursday, though immigration charges remain.
