
A man is in custody following a shooting in Sheboygan Falls.
Police Chief Aaron Wigen says police were called to the 400 block of Giddings Avenue at 4:15 p.m.
Wednesday (June 11th) for two people suffering from multiple gunshot wounds.
Two men, 67-year-old and 39-year-old, were taken by medical helicopter with life-threatening injuries, but are expected to survive.
A 24-year-old suspect went to the residence with a handgun to confront the 39-year-old victim and fired several shots, hitting both men.
The 39-year-old man then grabbed the gun and fired at the suspect, who wasn’t hit. Others present at the time were also not injured.
The suspect fled in a vehicle prior to police arriving but was later arrested in Ozaukee County after a brief police pursuit.
He’s currently in the Sheboygan County Detention Center on charges of Recklessly Endangering Safety, Endangering Safety by Use o fa Dangerous Weapon, and Possession of a Firearm by a felon.
Sheboygan Falls Police say the incident is still being investigated but aren’t releasing any additional information at this time.
