A nonprofit in Sheboygan County will be holding summer programs for animal lovers.
The Humane Society of Sheboygan County’s Kids and Critters programs will begin on June 24th for three four-day sessions throughout the summer.
These programs are ideal for youth animal lovers who want to learn, have fun, and make a difference in the lives of the most vulnerable animals in the area.
Each of the four-day sessions will include service projects, hands-on animal learning, and time with the shelter animals.
Shelter Superstars, the first session, will run from June 24th through the 27th and is intended for those entering 4th or 5th grade.
The second and third programs will be Junior Vets, with the first aimed at those entering 2nd and 3rd grade, while the second session will focus on slightly older children.
The Kids and Critters program will cost $230 per camper for one four-day session.
Those interested in signing a child up for one of the sessions can do so by visiting adoptsheboygancounty.org.
