Bail has been set for the man accused of attempting to steal clothing from the Manitowoc Walmart.
33-year-old Anthony K. Sayabouipjeth was given a $750 recognizance bond by Court Commissioner Patricia Koppa on charges of Retail Theft, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, and Felony Bail Jumping.
He was caught attempting to steal pants and a belt from the store by the loss prevention team.
When confronted by police, Sayabouipjeth allegedly said he recently lost his job and was “making bad decisions.”
As a part of his bond, he was ordered to maintain absolute sobriety and to have no contact with Walmart.
He is due back in court on June 30th in Branch 2.
